I've been fortunate enough to travel to many cities, nationally and internationally. For almost all my travels, I've made it a point to maintain a sketch journal. I've sorted out a compilation of some of my drawings here along with a few pictures from my visits.
Sketched at a beautiful homestay named 'Blossom' which was nestled between a coffee plantation estate.
The first sketch is at a homestay with a spectacular view of crystal blue water. The second one was sketched outside a kiteboarding shop where my family and I took a beginners lesson for kiteboarding.
I drew the first sketch while waiting for a train from Fort Railway Station at Colombo to Kandy. Second and third were drawn at Hikkaduva beach. While the last one is a drawing of the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast I devoured at Galle.
I drew the first one while out for a picnic at Vondelpark on a cool-sunny afternoon in Amsterdam. The second one was drawn at a park in Köln, Germany.
The first picture was at Adavi's famous spot where one can take a bowl boat ride. The second one is of an ancient village cottage where my friend's grandmother stays. Her house is surrounded by beautiful rubber trees.
Trip to the States was spread across a month mainly in California with my family and it was such an adventure. This is the only drawing I could manage to draw. The second picture is of me drawing the drawing!
I drew the first picture at Khajjiar which is surrounded by Cedar trees and breathtaking views. It is know as mini Switzerland of India. The second one was sketched at Triund which is a three hour hike from Dharamkot.
Drawn on a sunny afternoon at Majorda beach in Goa.
